Awakenings exists to help teenagers to know Christ and to develop a relationship with Him, while caring for the needs of others and each other.

Awakenings has an inter-denominational emphasis, so youth come from many different churches and some unchuched kids come also. All are welcome.
We deeply appreciate our partner in this work, Peter McDowell and Christchurch, and the support of other Christian churches in the Limerick area. Awakenings is for all secondary school students. We have a mix of music, drama and sports programmes. We play games and have fun, and have small discussion groups, worship and Bible teachings. We meet on Friday nights in Abundant Life @ 7.30 and finish @ 10pm

We encourage teenagers to develop any God given giftings.

Teenagers have an opportunity to assist in leading and organising meetings and events.

Awakenings also host an annual youth event - Mission Possible (M:P). M:P aims to encourage the teenager by meeting more Christian friends and also provides an opportunity to invite non-Christian friends to an awesome youth event.
