Abundant Life has been serving the city of Limerick for over 13 years.

Dr Mike Pinsent founded Abundant Life Christian Church (ALCC) in 1995.
Mike planted good foundations in people's lives. He handled the many problems that go with starting a new style pentecostal/charismatic church and he raise up leaders to follow in his foot steps.
He is now based in Tamworth, UK. He is regarded highly in Abundant Life. A mature and wise Christian, we love him, Annette and family!

Though it received its new name and structure in July 1995, Abundant Life has been located and operating in Limerick since 1979. Its old name was "New Life" Christian Church. Some of its members have been involved in Christian work in Limerick and elsewhere for over 35 years. Previously, the church was located in Red Cross Hall, then in Windmill Street (where it operated since 1988) and Limerick Youth Centre. In April 2006, Abundant Life moved to its new premises in Post Office Lane (behind Ulster Bank).

The current Pastor is Kevin Fitzgibbon, who served under Dr. Mike and benefitted from his wisdom, leadership and teaching. Kevin was chosen to lead ALCC in August 2003. He has taken the church further along God's journey. Abundant Life arrived at another milestone on 1st Jan 2007, when they appointed Kevin "full time" pastor. Kevin was ordained as a minister with Assemblies of God Ireland on Saturday, 26th January 2008.
Kevin is married to Breda, and they have two children - Mark and Joelle.
